IT & Web development: after years of outsourcing and working with freelancers we decided to create our own IT and web development center in Europe. We choose Valencia because it has a great university, high speed fiber internet infrastructure and an airport with a good public transport connection to the city. Our goal was to start with a complete team of experienced, high educated (university) employees. We needed developers who can and are willing to work according the highest standards for developing, testing and maintenance. The office should be in a building with possibilities for expansion, located in the center and in walking distance of the metro. For our management from the Netherlands we needed an apartment close to the office. We started blank so also had to set up a Spanish limited, arrange contracts for employees, legal papers, administration etc. Match Better Valencia helped us with the recruitment, job interviews, contracts, office, housing etc. After three months we started with the first four developers in our fully operational office in the center of Valencia and had our own apartment on the Gran Vía de Ramón y Cajal.
